Voucher Assistance

Child care vouchers are a valuable resource designed to assist eligible low-income families in covering the expenses associated with child care for children aged 6 weeks to 13 years old. Additionally, children with disabilities up to 18 years old are also included in the coverage. As a center-based provider, our facility accepts child care vouchers from programs such as ACS (Administration for Children’s Services) and HRA (Human Resources Administration).

In addition to voucher payments, our center recognizes the importance of providing flexible payment options. We gladly accept cash payments for our child care services. This inclusive approach ensures that families have various means to cover the costs associated with child care.

These child care vouchers are part of a government-regulated and funded initiative aimed at supporting families who may face financial challenges in meeting child care costs. Eligibility for the program is determined based on factors such as your family’s income, size, and other specific needs.

It’s important to note that parents applying for these vouchers are not required to be U.S. citizens; however, the child receiving care must be either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. national, or a person with satisfactory immigration status.

In most cases, families participating in the program are required to contribute a fee based on their income and family size. However, there are exemptions for certain families, including those receiving cash assistance, families experiencing homelessness, and foster care parents.

This child care voucher program plays a crucial role in ensuring that families, regardless of citizenship status, have access to quality child care services, thereby supporting the overall well-being and development of children. If you have specific questions about the program or need assistance, it is advisable to contact the relevant government agencies or organizations overseeing the child care voucher initiative in your area.
